Editorial Policy

Independence

Simplemeadow Strategy Room operates as an independent editorial publication. All editorial decisions — topic selection, coverage emphasis, article structure, and conclusions — are made by the editorial team without external direction or commercial influence.

Topic Selection

Topics are selected on the basis of their relevance to the publication's cluster: Boardroom Insights, with a focus on company strategy and board of directors sessions in the Canadian corporate context. Topics outside this cluster are not covered.

Sourcing and Factual Standards

Coverage is based on publicly documented governance practices, institutional publications, and editorial analysis of documented patterns. The publication does not fabricate data, statistics, quotations, or attributions. Where editorial interpretation is offered, it is clearly identified as such and distinguished from documented fact.

The publication does not use confidential, privileged, or otherwise non-public sources. It does not name or evaluate specific organizations or individuals except in publicly attributed governance contexts.

Content Limitations

The publication does not provide financial, investment, legal, or governance advice. It does not make recommendations regarding specific investment decisions, transactions, or organizational actions. Coverage is informational and editorial only.

The publication does not cover topics involving consumer finance, credit, lending, or related subjects. It does not engage in promotional, advocacy, or advertising content of any kind.

Updates and Corrections

Articles carry a publication date and are reviewed periodically. Where corrections are required, they are made and noted at the foot of the affected article with the correction date. Material corrections are noted prominently. Corrections may be submitted via the contact form.

Conflict of Interest

The publication has no paid, sponsored, or commercially constrained relationships with any organization in its coverage area. It does not accept sponsored content, native advertising, or editorially constrained partnerships.
